Entering the blogosphere...

I'm doing a fair amount of blogging this semester for both Koch Scholars and my Law and Economics class, and I have found myself wanting to post in excess on the above-mentioned blogs. So I decided to revamp my old Chinese 1020 blog and get writing! (In English – I’ve found I’m much better at that…) First, I hope to use this as a place to post interesting articles, quotes, etc, and my accompanying commentary. I have somewhat been doing that on Facebook, but I hate taking Facebook seriously when a lot of people don’t. This will probably turn into a soapbox of my ideas, but regardless of whether or not anyone reads this, I think it will still be worthwhile, because as one of my favorite professors says, “Reading without writing is daydreaming.” And I am doing a LOT of reading these days. Hopefully this blog won’t turn into a major distraction and study time thief. It’s all just a big experiment at this point. We’ll see how it goes!
